OA rocked. school will…
to followup on stuff from my last entry…
OA’s all done and I finally relaxed somewhat. Though I’m way busier this year than I’ve been in the past, but so far that’s been a good thing. I’m mostly busy with stuff I like doing.
I got to hang out with that sophomore chick for a bit during OA, and she seemed not at all interested, so I was really bummed (more than I expected) for a couple days. Then I hooked up with this senior chick and we started dating and she’s been really cool so far. I don’t think I’ll ever figure out what girls see in me, but oh well. I’m a dork, and I guess some people are cool with that.
Sucks that since school started I’ve been unable to pull off the work schedule I did for OA. I didn’t sleep much the last two nights and now I’m hella tired and feeling like I might get sick. Maybe it’s cuz there’s so many more people around or something. More germs. I dunno, but it’s Friday and I didn’t really wanna go out tonight anyway. I’m becoming a big fan of going to bars and stuff midweek. So much more chill, easier, cheaper.
On that note I should post about my schedule because it kicks ass: no obligations Tuesday or Thursday, which means quite possibly a season pass to a ski resort this winter. MWF I’m booked 10-11 (Major British Authors I, fulfilling a distribution req), 11-12 (Macroeconomic theory, which is just shit I’d like to know), and 1:15-2:45 (MW is Combinatorics, a pretty good math class, and F is senior seminar). I also have weekly meetings with my thesis advisor Weds at 3:15, and hopefully piano lessons one of those afternoons, and “lab” for combinatorics some time. Oh and Fridays I should be going to Math Lunch cuz I’m a math department liaison, and Monday nights I’ll be manning the OTL gear room and mentoring for a CS class. I’ll have a bunch of work to do running OTL and also on my thesis, but that just comes whenever I wanna do it (probably Sundays and Tuesdays).
I want a Subaru Impreza WRX Wagon. looking into that… unfortunately they didn’t make’m before 02 so there’s no way to get one cheap.
I also might graduate on time after all, since it turns out it won’t be hard (despite my semester off). But then I gotta figure out this summer/next fall plans sooner than I’d hoped to.
